Experience

Hi there, I’m so glad you’re here! Reaching out for support is a meaningful step, and you don’t have to navigate things alone. I started my journey in the counseling field after graduating from IU with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal justice and a master's degree in counseling. I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2001 and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor since 2008.  I have worked with teens primarily as well as young adults and adults in my career for over 30 years.

Many of my clients feel overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, or big life changes and are looking for clarity, confidence, or a sense of direction. They’re ready to try new ways of coping, and they appreciate a collaborative, strength‑based space that honors their resilience while offering practical tools for real, meaningful change.  Together, we may draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused strategies, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques to support your growth and healing.

Life can feel overwhelming when you’re facing depression, anxiety, or major transitions. You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Together, we will work towards meaningful change for you and your life. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out—I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
