Sarah Richardson, LMHC
Life can feel stressful, overwhelming, confusing, and even scary at times. I strive to help individuals navigate these times in their lives and emerge feeling hopeful and confident. My approach to therapy is client-centered and strength-based. I encourage the individual to create their own goals for therapy that we can work on together. It is my goal to help you build insight, identify strengths and develop skills to hlep you live a happy, healthy life.
I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2016. Whether looking to work through trauma, substance use concerns, anxiety/depression, relationship struggles, or general life adjustments, my hope is to provide a safe space for you to learn about yourself and build skills in the process. I use a multidiscipinary approach, combining models such as DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I am also certified in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and use this approach often with my clients who have experienced some type of trauma.
